Adrenal disorders
- Cushing's syndrome — Weight gain, facial fullness, easy bruising, hypertension — diagnosed with dexamethasone suppression and 24-hour urinary cortisol.
- Addison's disease (primary adrenal insufficiency) — Fatigue, hyperpigmentation, hypotension — diagnosed with ACTH stimulation testing.
- Primary aldosteronism (Conn syndrome) — A treatable cause of resistant hypertension that is widely underdiagnosed.
- Pheochromocytoma — Episodic hypertension, headaches, sweating — plasma metanephrines and CT/MRI workup.
- Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH)
